Lois and Jocelyn with some of their work.
Well, I have had a fabuous weekend working with Lois, Jocelyn and Kaz as they finished off their Level 3 and 4 Certified Powertex Trainer Course. Wonderful to see the results that can be achieved using Powertex products, by some very clever people!! Although there were some concerns that they had not painted much in the past, all the girls achieved wonderful results, proving they were more talented that they were giving themselves credit for. Lois and Jocelyn finished their mixed media pieces on Saturday for Level 3 and today Kaz joined them to finish Level 4. Kaz's work can also be seen on her Facebook page, Quintessential.

Had a lovely day today, showing Penny how to use Powertex to create her pretty red faerie!! We had met at Foster market, where we got chatting about fabric and how to make the sculptures. She finally made it over to Churchill today to make her own sculpture!! Finally feeling like I am over this horrible flu and just as well as there is another big weekend of training coming up. Lois, Jocelyn and Kaz will be finishing off their Level 3 and 4, to complete the Certified Powetex Trainer Course. Level 3 is the Mixed Media piece and Level 4 is working with Powerprint, the fabulous photo transfer medium. Just fantastic to use, you are able to transfer photos onto canvas, glass, fabric, timber with fabulous results. I am sure there will be lots of photos of their fabulous work completed over the weekend. |
